We at ENLYZE are working towards becoming the data-layer for manufacturing where all departments are able to seamlessly access, understand and share production data to collectively make the best decisions and improve operations.

WHO WE ARE

We are a young team of 21 curious and open-minded engineers, designers and business enthusiasts from multiple international and cultural backgrounds. Our official internal communication therefore happens in English.

We work in a modern industrial loft in the heart of Cologne-Ehrenfeld, a creative environment located 2 minutes away from Ehrenfeld-Station.

It is always worth it to come by the office for our “Falafel Fridays” when we get the best falafel in town and have our Show & Tell in the afternoon.

OUR CULTURE

We, Clemens, Deniz, Henning, and Julius are the founders of ENLYZE and met during our engineering studies at RWTH Aachen. We started ENLYZE with a clear mission for the company culture:

I like the freedom that I have within my area and I always get excited when my creative solutions are actually being built into the product. And then there is the interdisciplinary collaboration we need to build our complex product, spanning technology from hardware to the cloud, so I can be sure there’s always something that challenges me every day.

All of us take ownership for their work and always strive to deliver the best results possible. This makes it fun to work here because everyone cares about what they are doing while I can also see my personal impact on ENLYZE every day. Also, I really like the open and constructive communication. People here not only care about their work, but they also care about each other and listen to what is going on to improve themselves, as a team and as a company.

Working at ENLYZE to me is the perfect balance between freedom and responsibility. Freedom to own projects and help to shape the company and responsibility to deliver high-quality solutions across a broad spectrum of technologies. All that with the support of a friendly and constructive culture shaped by an exceptional team, which I feel as a close part of even as a remote colleague. Once on a team event I even got a surprise pizza and drinks delivery to my place in Brazil to really feel part of the celebrations with my colleagues in the German office.

When I first applied to Enlyze, given my graphic design background and mostly non “tech” work, I didn’t think I was even going to be considered for an interview. The overwhelmingly welcoming reception I got proved me wrong. Enlyze ended up being one of the best jobs and work environments I’ve ever had and I am so glad I took that leap of faith! For the future I would really like to see more people (and especially women) like me, who may not think they would fit in, applying for jobs here and joining us. The more plural we are, the stronger we’ll grow and that’s something I can definitely see happening here!
