The S7Plus protocol was introduced in 2009 with the S7-1200 and S7-1500 controllers. It is known by many names, such as OMS+, S7CommPlus, or S7-2, as it was never officially documented.
ENLYZE has developed an extensive connector for this protocol to read process data from S7-1200 and S7-1500 controllers. Our ENLYZE SPARK can Plug & Play connect, and unlike most of our competitors, we can read a complete list of variables directly from the controller. The SPARK supports optimized block access and does not rely on the outdated PUT/GET communication. Thus, no changes to the S7 programming are necessary to connect an ENLYZE SPARK to an S7-1200 or S7-1500. It is also possible to connect to password-protected controllers or an S7-1500 Software Controller.
